Refunds & cancellations

Last updated: 30 August 2026

The short version of how money works at Prow: you can cancel yourself at any time and keep what you paid for until the period ends, upgrades are prorated, downgrades wait for the renewal, and a purchase whose credits you have not touched is refundable in full for 7 days.

None of this is new policy. It is section 4 of the Terms of Service in plainer words, and that section is the document that actually governs.

1Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel any time from billing settings inside Prow. No email, no form and nobody to talk to first.

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. You keep access until then.
  • You are not charged again after you cancel.
  • Because the period you paid for runs to its end, cancelling does not produce a refund of the current month — it stops the next one.

2Changing plan

  • Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated, so you pay the difference for the rest of the cycle rather than a fresh full month.
  • Downgrades take effect at your next renewal. Nothing is charged or credited back today, and the plan you are on stays in force until the boundary.

3Refunds

Seven days, full refund, as long as the credits are unused. That covers both things you can buy — a plan subscription and a top-up credit pack. Ask within 7 days of the purchase, with the paid credits it granted still sitting in your balance, and you get all of it back.

  • A stray chat message does not void it. Trivial use is at our discretion and we are reasonable about it, so ask rather than assume.
  • Write from the address on your Prow account. We match a refund to an account, not to a card or to the email on the Stripe receipt, so a request from another address is one we have no way to verify.
  • The money goes back the way it came. Same card, same account. We send it as soon as we agree it; banks usually take 5 to 10 business days to post it.
  • The credits go back too. Refunding a purchase removes the credits that purchase granted. If part of them was already spent, any refund is proportional to what is left, at our discretion.

Past the 7 days, or once the credits are spent, fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise — the work those credits paid for has already been done.

That is the rule, not the whole story. If something went wrong on our side — a render that failed and took credits with it, a charge that should not have happened, a plan that did not do what this site said it would — write to support@prow.app whenever it happened. We would rather fix it than argue about it.

Nothing here removes a statutory right you have as a consumer where you live.

4What happens to credits

  • Plan credits reset at each billing boundary and do not roll over. Whatever is left of the monthly allowance at the boundary expires.
  • Top-up pack credits are the exception: they survive the reset and carry forward for as long as your account stays open.
  • Credits have no cash value, are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for money.

5Failed payments and price changes

  • If a payment fails we may suspend paid features until it clears. Nothing is deleted while that is happening.
  • We may change prices. Existing subscribers get at least 30 days’ notice by email before a change affects their renewal.

6How to ask for a refund

One email to support@prow.app, sent from the address on your Prow account. There is no form.

  • Tell us what you bought — the plan or the pack — and roughly when.
  • That is enough. We can see the purchase and the credits from the account itself, so you do not need the receipt or the card number.

If the purchase is inside the window and the credits are unused, the refund goes out the day we read it.

7Which document governs

This page is a summary written for speed. The rules it restates are section 4 of the Terms of Service, and that section is the authority: where this page and the Terms differ, the Terms are what applies.

Questions about a specific charge go to support@prow.app.
