The agreement
These terms are the agreement between you and Prow AI (“Prow”, “we”), based in the United Kingdom, for using prow.app and the Prow app. By joining the waitlist, creating an account or using Prow, you accept them. If you're agreeing for a company, you confirm you can bind it, and “you” means that company.
Our privacy policy and refund policy are part of this agreement.
What Prow is
Prow is an AI clipping tool. You paste a YouTube, Twitch or Kick link or upload a file; Prow finds the strongest moments, captions them and scores each clip out of 100 (the Prow Score). It also offers extra AI tools: B-roll, a virality predictor, captions, reframe, clean audio, an upscaler up to 4K, animated graphics, hooks and titles, translated captions in 20 languages, thumbnails, pause removal and clip-to-carousel. Where you connect accounts, it can post or schedule clips to TikTok, YouTube and Instagram.
Until Prow opens, only the waitlist is available. We may add, change or remove features; if we remove something you rely on, we'll tell account holders by email.
Your account
- You need an account to use the app, and the details you give us must be accurate.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password safe.
- You must be 16 or older (or the age of digital consent where you live, whichever is higher) and legally able to agree to these terms.
- Tell us at support@prow.app if you think someone has used your account without permission.
Plans, minutes and AI credits
Plans
There is no free plan. Starter is $19 a month (200 minutes of video, 100 AI credits), Creator $49 (600 minutes, 500 credits) and Clipper $99 (1,500 minutes, 1,200 credits). Paying yearly saves 20%: $15, $39 or $79 a month, billed once a year. Plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax, VAT or GST, which is added where it applies. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive your card number. The pricing page is the authority on current figures.
Minutes and credits
- Minutes are the length of source video Prow processes into clips, counted once per upload. Exports are unlimited on every plan, in 1080p with no watermark.
- AI credits pay for the extra tools. Each tool shows its cost before it runs; a thumbnail is 6 credits, for example.
- Unused minutes and credits roll over for 2 months, then expire.
- Minutes and credits have no cash value, can't be transferred and can't be exchanged for money.
Cancelling and changing plan
- Cancel any time, in one click, from billing settings. It takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for; you keep access until then and aren't charged again.
- Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal.
- If a payment fails, we may pause paid features until it clears. Nothing is deleted while that happens.
- We may change prices. Existing subscribers get at least 30 days' notice by email before a change affects their renewal.
Refunds
Any purchase is refundable in full within 7 days, as long as the minutes and AI credits it granted are unused. The details, including partial use, are in our refund policy. Nothing here removes a statutory right you have as a consumer where you live.
Your videos and the rights to them
Everything you upload or link stays yours. You give us the permission we need to run Prow on it: to fetch it, store it, process it and send it to the providers named in our privacy policy so we can make your clips and post where you tell us to. That permission is only for running Prow for you, and it ends when you delete the content or close your account.
Only clip what you have the right to clip. That means your own videos and streams, or someone else's where you have their permission or another legal right to use them. You promise that you have the rights to everything you put in, including any people, music, footage, brands or logos in it, and that using it through Prow breaks no law, platform rule or agreement you're under.
If you believe content processed through Prow infringes your rights, write to us at support@prow.app with the details and we'll look into it.
Your clips
As between you and us, the clips, captions, thumbnails and other output Prow makes for you are yours to post, edit and monetise, to the extent the underlying AI providers' licences allow. We claim no ownership of them.
Two honest limits:
- AI output isn't exclusive. Models can produce similar hooks, titles or graphics for different people from similar input.
- Copyright in AI output is unsettled. In some countries purely machine-generated material may not be protected at all. We make no promise about what protection any output carries.
Check every clip before it goes out. Prow shows you each clip before anything is posted.
What you can't do with Prow
- Break the law, or make content that is illegal where it will be seen.
- Clip, repost or monetise other people's content without the right to.
- Impersonate a real person or organisation, or present a clip as something it isn't, such as an edit that changes what someone actually said.
- Make sexual content involving minors, content that sexualises real people without consent, or content that harasses, defames or incites violence.
- Resell or white-label Prow, or use it to build a competing product.
- Get around minute or credit metering, plan limits or rate limits, probe Prow for vulnerabilities without permission, or disrupt it for others.
- Post through Prow in breach of a platform's own rules, including its rules on labelling AI-generated or edited media.
You're responsible for everything posted through your connected accounts.
Connected accounts and other services
When you connect a social account, you authorise Prow to post, schedule and read back performance figures on it as you direct. You can disconnect at any time.
Those platforms, and the sites you link videos from, aren't ours. Their terms govern your accounts with them, and they can change their APIs, limits or rules, remove content or suspend accounts for their own reasons. The same applies to the AI providers behind Prow. A failure or decision on their side isn't a breach of this agreement by us.
Availability
We work to keep Prow available, but these terms don't include an uptime guarantee. Maintenance, a provider outage or a failure at a platform we depend on can interrupt it. Features marked beta or preview may change or disappear.
Suspension and closing your account
You can close your account at any time by emailing support@prow.app. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts Prow or other users at risk, or where the law requires it. Where it's reasonable, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to fix it.
When an account closes, your right to use Prow stops, unused minutes and credits are forfeited, and your content is deleted on the schedule in our privacy policy. Download anything you want to keep first. The sections on your content, your clips, disclaimers, liability and governing law survive.
Disclaimers
Prow is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
AI output can be wrong. Captions can mishear, translations can miss, and a model can pick a moment you wouldn't. The Prow Score and the virality predictor are estimates, not promises. We don't guarantee views, followers, reach or revenue from any clip. Reviewing what you post is your job.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data, however caused.
Our total liability under or in connection with this agreement is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim, and (b) US$100.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't legally be excluded, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Indemnity
You'll defend and indemnify Prow against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your content, from clips you posted through Prow, or from your breach of these terms or of any law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that either party may seek urgent injunctive relief wherever it's needed.
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing something once doesn't waive it. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it as part of a merger or sale of the business.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Prow changes. The date at the top is the current version. For material changes we'll email account holders before they take effect. If you keep using Prow after that date, you accept the new version; if you don't want to, cancel before it takes effect.
